Nato a Përmet , in Albania, il 10 dicembre 1942. Ha frequentato la  scuola elementare a Tirana, e poi, dal  1955 al 1960, ha frequentato la Scuola artistica Jordan Misja nella sezione scultura, sotto la direzione di Kristina Koljaka. Dal 1960 al 1965 ha studiato  scultura presso l'Istituto Superiore di Arte , sotto la direzione del Prof. Shaban Hader. Dopo essersi diplomato all'Istituto Superiore di Arte, ha partecipato a diverse mostre nazionali, ma tra il 1970 e il 1990, per altri impegni,  ha lasciato le attività artistiche. Dal 1991 si dedica alla scultura. Vive  ed opera a Tirana (Albania) e Chicago (Illinois).

 

Born in Permet, Albania, on December 10, 1942. He attended the elementary school in Tirana and during the 1955-1960 period he was educated in the Jordan Misja High School of Arts, sculpture branch , mentored by teacher Kristina Koljaka. From 1960 to 1965 he was a sculpture major in the Institute of Arts under the mentorship of Prof Shaban Haderi. After graduation he participated in some national exhibitions, but given other pursuits he disengaged himself from the artistic activity. Qazim has devoted himself to sculpture since 1991 and has realized works of art which are presented in this catalogue. The sculptor resides currently in Tirana, Albania and Chicago, Illinois.
